Operation.

It started Wednesday when I made spaghetti. I felt sick to my stomach about an hour or so after eating it. I thought it was the spaghetti, but when I explained the pain to my mother in law she told me it was my gallbladder. I looked up the symptoms and she was right, I was having a gallbladder attack.
I swore to stay away from fried, greasy foods, but Saturday Dan had his girlfriend over and we had pizza (bad idea Melody) and it acted up again, but not as bad as the first time. And if I didn't learn from the last 2 experiences, Monday I made hot wings and ate about 5 of them!!! That did me in! I was sick and it progressed into something that I had never experienced in my life!! It was almost as bad as labor!
I had gone to the chiropractor and told him everything that was wrong. He did some acupuncture and told me if it got worse then I needed to go to the hospital (he's actually reasonable). I was in my room crying, praying that I didn't need my gallbladder out, that this pain would subside. I promised myself that if I woke up in the morning with the same pain I would go to the hospital. I woke up the next morning with the same pain. Matt brought me to the hospital.
I went in, they did ultrasounds and found stones in my gallbladder, one that was perfectly placed in the neck of the gallbladder that whenever the gallbladder contracted, I would feel it and it hurt!

I stayed over night and went in to surgery the next morning, bright and early. They told me if I would have waited longer, it would have ruptured....and that would have been a very bad thing.
I'm thankful for chiropractors AND modern medicine. I'm grateful for the intuition to just go to the hospital!
And a BIG Thank You to my in laws!! I don't know what I would have done without them, or what Matt would have done without them! I'm convinced we are living with them a little longer for this reason. For that I am grateful!
