We had been preparing weeks for this very day! I was so excited that my "baby", my first born was starting Kindergarten, I didn't even think about being sad.
Today when he walked on that bus, the emotions hit me like a bag of bricks. I didn't full out cry, but sure felt like it! I had to hold back those tears.
He will do well in Kindergarten. He has his best friend (his cousin) there every step of the way. I think if it was just him going on that bus, he would have taken it differently, but since he had Dan there with him, it made it easier.
SO...what does a mother do when her first child is at school? Why, of course, go to his school to "check up on him" ;o)
